Stepping away from our instruments allows us to develop important skills without the pressure of technical concerns. Dance embodies music. We will touch on South African Step Dance, Baroque Dance and Argentine Tango. Participants will both play and dance. Bring your instruments! Comfortable shoes recommended.

Ravel’s Trio, dedicated to his counterpoint and theory teacher, opens with a Basque dance zoriko rhythm and uses the extreme ranges of its instruments to create a rich texture of sound.”
